The positive insanity of this October is over now that the book publishing party and the final skills test of the scientific diver school are successfully done with. Those were also the last milestones I’ve set for myself a long time ago, and they signal the end of an era in my life.

If You Think “Computers” Is a Hobby, I May Have Bad News For You
I just came back from my first visit to Assembly, which is one of the most prominent demo scene events in the world. It hit home something I’ve known, but never really completely digested: in our government and legislation there are still tons of people who think “computers” is a nerdy fringe hobby and that the net is somehow separate from “the real world” – and they don’t even realize they are the weirdos now.

This year has been eventful to say the least. My time has been divided equally between a new job in the games industry, the scientific diving school, and a new very active and interesting relationship. Not to forget the novel that’s finally starting to take its final form.
