2011 – Welcome To The Roller Coaster

It’s the last day of 2011, a few hours left ’till the New Year’s party, and it’s maybe a time for a little recap of this weird, weird year. I’d like to say that this year totally sucked, but it’s not really true. What I can say is that I’ve probably never had a year where the amplitude between the high and low points has been this huge.

Telltale’s Jurassic Park – Press Up, Up, Left, Down For A New Cutscene

I’m a big fan of Telltale Games for two reasons. First of all, their adventure games have been simply excellent almost throughout the line, and secondly they are the only company that has really made episodic gaming work. Nevertheless, now I think they had their first big miss: Jurassic Park: The Game.

Die, E-mail, Die! – Or Getting Rid of E-Mail Chaos

A decade ago it was still nice to be in a work environment, where people knew how to communicate by e-mail, but nowadays it’s more of a curse. E-mail should damn well die and depart as the main communication channel when working, especially when there are so many better and more appropriate alternatives nowadays. Here are some I’ve found – more hints are welcome!
